Our story
Built on two homes
VentureVillage was founded by Unnikrishnan S Kurup and Dr Anup Jinadevan, two Keralites who have lived and worked in Finland for more than a decade. As parents, they saw first-hand how differently children learn in Finland: trust in teachers, room to explore, and learning that builds real understanding.
After the 2018 floods in Kerala, they looked for a lasting way to give back. Education was the natural answer. VentureVillage began as a way to bring Finnish educational values to schools in India, and has grown into a company that builds education partnerships across borders.
Today VentureVillage Finland, based in Espoo, is part of the VentureVillage group. The full group story and our team are on venturevillage.world; our work in India is on venturevillage.in.
